so I'm sure every Galaxy Defender (GD) knows what the two most important TV show that is showing on planet Earth right now is Strictly Come Dancing and I'm a Celebrity.. Get me out of here!
WHY?

because Harry Judd is dancing his way to the top on Strictly and Dougie is going back to his roots and being a wild wolf boy in the Jungle!

i'll start off my long blogging hiatus with Mr Harry Judd.

so everyone pretty much knew that he was gonna be on the show after he did amazing in Strictly for Children In Need last year. and as everyone predicted, Harry Judd from Mcfly is dominating the show yawwww. he's obviously such a competitive dude, so i'm guessing he tries really hard and practices a lot.

ok so i've started uni and all. hahaha.

my exam is around the corner. in less than a month. and i study all day in my e-lab.

lol.

now readers will go, Hey, why do you study in a computer lab?!

ok. you got me. well at least i try to study. so usually this is how it goes, i'd snag the best spot in the lab, boot up the desktop, log in to tumblr, log in to twitter, open surfthechannel and load up 3 things, big bang theory, gossip girl and glee.

while they're all loading, then i'll bring out my notebook and notes.

yup. i'm totally awesome because i have the best self-control ever! i wish.

but anyway........

i'm not here to talk about studying! this blog is about fun times! the coolio gangsta paradise blog!

i have to stop getting off topic.

so. basically what i'm trying to say is that these few days, i've been watching Star Wars!!

hahahaha. mesa loves watching star wars while yousa reading booksas! lol.

and now i've only watched until half of Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

I've never realized how great this whole saga is. (probably because the last time i watched it was when i was younger and only watched the movie for cool light swords =.=')

it's so creatively written.

i mean, even the word Jedi is freaking cool. you know how normal peace-keepers a.k.a policemen would only have titles like constable or detective and

even doctors would only have Dr..

but for jedis! imagine, Jedi Master Sarah! damn! that's a title that my inner nerd self would love to have.

so let's just mention a few characters. firstly, of course Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi and Jedi Master Qui-Gon.

i find that qui-gon is a totally kick ass name. sad that he died in the first movie.

i didn't bother to get photos of the two jedis. heh. lazy la.

then we have anakin skywalker. hahaha. he was such a cutie pie in the first movie!

awwwh. what i can't get over is that when he finally meets padme again in the second movie,

at their first encounter he gave her that smoldering look. lol.

and he keeps giving her that look throughout the movie! The Anakin Smolder.

sadly i didn't screen capture his face while watching. hahaha.

this is flynn rider's smolder. hahaha. which totally made me laugh.

but then. anakin's smolder is like....and evil smolder! it's like a gatal face. but evil gatal face.

still, anakin even as a jedi he has that evil aura surrounding him.

and then there's Jar Jar Binks, a gungan! hahah. i hope i spelled that correctly. if i did, whoever the star wars boss is can punish me by forcing me to eat a petri dish full of midi-chlorians.

hahahahaha. then i'd be even more powerful then damn anakin! muahahahahaa.

hello readers.

a small warning before you continue on to read this particular post of mine. it is as usual going to be a picture spam post.

who to spam, you ask? well this time round, ladies and gentleman, it will be a Charlie Simpson spam.

for those who do not know who this human being is, let me shed some knowledge unto you.

THIS is Charlie Simpson.

He was formerly in a UK based band called Busted.

i think they we're the first band that i have ever fancied. you know. i was the ultimate Busted fangirl. i knew all the members. i knew all their songs by heart.

i had both their albums. Casettes, mind you!!

besides playing Neopets online, i signed up as a Busted streetteam member.

that made me proud as hell *headdesk*

so when i was still a fan (i think i still am eventhough busted is Bust) i used to have this HUGE crush on charlie.

to me he was the epitome of hotness. lol. i still think he's hot now. *smiles sheepishly*

he's super tall.

he has this really really deep voice. which is a total killer in the songs.

he looked totally hot in the first Busted video i saw on MTV, Crashed the Wedding.

heh. excuse my laziness to find the right photo.

he has an intense amount of eyebrow hair. it's so bushy and huge that's it's disturbingly attractive on him.. lol. *headDESKKKK*

even harry and tom from Mcfly insist that "bushy eyebrows are way forward."

he's kinda weird looking most of the time, but hey. bila dah minat right?!! ;)

anyway

in 2005, it made the news that Busted was no more. i wasn't just shocked i was pissed mad.

of course i found out why, because Charlie wants to be in a totally different direction of music.

and James said that the three of them agreed that if one of em went scampers the other two would not continue on with Busted.

the infamous "Busted Split Interview." i've gotta tell you that when i first heard of the split,

i was SO MAD PISSED at Charlie, you wouldn't believe me.

i basically ate, slept, drank "it's all his fault, it's all his fault Busted is gone"

i really did HATE him. honest.

then he comes out with his new band Fightstar.

i mean, from this,

to this.

well, you know, there's nothing wrong with Fightstar at all. i'm sure they play great music for their fans.

and when i youtube them or busted, many people keep commenting on how Busted really sucks and have gay pop songs, thank god Charlie left to be in the most epic band ever like Fightstar.

or vice versa, oh god, i can't believe Charlie left Busted to be in such a crappy screamo band like Fightstar.

let me tell you that those example of comments are quite yellow mellow to the real deal.

so basically, i held a really long (years i believe) grudge against charlie and dissed fightstar whenever i could.

if i watch a Busted video on youtube, my subconciousness immediately lean toward Matt.

no charlie.

gosh. kesian. macam a rebound celebrity crush. but whatever, matt is such a cool cat anyway.

Matt and James got on trying to get their solo projects going.

i didn't care much for charlie till recently in this glorious year of two-oh-ten, i started re-watching Busted videos and Fightstar videos.

coz i suddenly had a thought that maybe Charlie is happy in Fightstar, maybe Busted ended on good terms between the three lads,

i started feeling kind of guilty of the horrible animosity and hate that i felt for Simpson.

i thought maybe if i try to appreciate Fightstar's music, maybe they're actually not that bad.

(nyahhhh.... bad choice tho, i'm really sorry, but i guess Alternative rock just isn't my thing)

after feeling glad at myself for overcoming such a childish grudge against a person that i havent even met in my entire life, i felt like i got punched in the stomach when i read this.

ugh i feel so angry now! what a right bastard.

but yeah, back to earth sarah! you read that on the internet.

how sure are you that it's true on not just a nasty rumour like the many others that you found online?

gosh.

whatever tho. i really wish all three of them the best. and i really hope that none of those crap things about the three of them are true. but if you (charlie) really said that, then i hope you trip on a rock or stub your toe on a desk or something shitty like that.

Busted will always be Busted and i'll always love them.

i also wish the best for Fightstar. i read a lot of good reviews about your band.

everywhere he goes he brings his trusty dog figurine which is absolutely adorable.

and the fact that he totally loves his wife is really just the icing on the already delicious cake.

he is THE BOMB.

well. i'm back home.
as my college was just closed. yesterday.
so...i'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaccccccccckkkkkkkk....for a week.
it was havoc on the day of the announcement. they just had an announcement right in the middle of lecture. and bam! everyone has to leave the college immediately.
i think most of us we're just in shock. sort of. coz not many we're actually taking it seriously.

so anyyway.
my parents had a small dinner party tonight. and it was a full moon.

think werewolves and werewolves and....werewolves...and have i mentioned werewolves?

the holidays have begun!
wooohoooo. two weeks of blissfull sleep, telly, food, and homework -.-

danggggg..

anyway. just an update. 25 of us went to Kolej Mara Seremban for the first ever Mara English Carnival (17th - 19th July 09)

during the whole carnival, there were lotsa activities la. including the pramlee musical and world booths. (where every booth represents a different country)

12 [11 from my class, class C and one from class D]of us represented the college for the P.Ramlee musical.
and the rest for the booth.

Reminiscing P.Ramlee Night was on the 18th. which was a saturday. the day united played against malaysia. -.- damn you, owen.

even though we tak menang. we know we did our best. and we had a blast!!
wooohooooooooooooo.
it was like a freaking holiday. dahlah our exams baru only finish.

like kaiwen always say.... picture speaks louder then words.
(actually.. i'm just very lazy to tell the story in detail. :D )

everyone from the contingent gets split up for these groups. this is my group. group 7/green. won two prizes! 2nd place for amazing language race (which i proudly say i took part in)
and 3rd place for cheer.

the tear and gobble session.

the "goblin" and "mr harry potter" here are student council members of KMS. and they were going around the dining hall trying to make people talk to them. by shoving microphones in our faces. lol. i make them sound evil. this is revenge! just beacuse we wanted to take a photo, doesnt mean we nak talk to youuu.... heh

hours before showtime. husn and i we're trying to get a photo. when the two mangkuks azim and shafiq datang menyibuk. and if you look, there's a girl behind there holding a broom. lol. that's aima :D

after the show, hawa and i tracked down people who we're dressed up differently.

ok this one. for me. quite special lah. lol. these guys we're the first one that we tracked down i think. yeah. they're dressed that way coz they we're the thieves in the story ali baba dan 40 penyamun. they we're the penyamun if you didnt catch my drift.
their play was really nice! very happening!

this one. just normal lah. the ones in white were the emcees of the night.

then before we ended the night, we had another "photoshoot"
one at the gates of KMS.

and at the parking lot. ahhh. the wonders of cameras with self timers! and someones car.

then the next day. during the booths exhibition. starting with KMKulim! wooohooo. with the theme Egyptian!
all the booths were damn cun-ted!

yes. right before i left,, my friend reminded me to make sure i study at home.

why? because i have a chem quiz this sunday, a bio quiz on monday, another chem quiz on wednesday, a maths quiz on thursday, and our mid-sem trials on the next sunday.

jeez. they sure know how to grind our noses into dust huh?

from the first time i set my eyes and ears on him during the audition time,
his name, Adam Lambert was carved into my heart.

if you have been following One In A Million on 8tv, you would know that, this season,
it is the season of TOMOK : THE REBIRTH.

so basically the winner of it all. the winner of the whole million is Tomok.

Honestly, i was'nt really familiar with this boyband, Newboyz yang apparently quite famous lah wayyyyyyyyy wayyyyyyyyyyy back.
I've just heard of them lah. I don't know their songs or anything.
But I've definitely heard of this dude named Tomok lah.

So basically i've been watching since the start of the season.
I honestly think that Tomok rocks!!
hehe. he does! He does all those switching songs to his own style stuff.
damn nice lah basically.

And then, when i was watching the Grand Finals of OIAM with my mum, sister and cousin last friday, i was freaking out.
Because Tomok got the least votes at the start of the show,
so technically he should have left the show.and would not have won.

BUT. they've been running a poll on the 8tv website, asking if Malaysia would want to have 3 finalists or only 2. So thankgoodness that majority voted for 3 finalists.

Tomok, Esther, and Aweera.

So then, during the whole show, the ratings of the votes kept on changing.

and in the end, BAM!! i was literally jumping and yelling with joy (heheh) when Awal and Marion announced Tomok as the winner.

Anyway, based on the Grand Finals, Tomok definitely desreved the win.

hana yori dango/ boys before flowers (it's a japanese phrase apparently, beats me *shrugs*) is apparently the best selling manga ever.

this manga is where the oh-so-famous Meteor Garden (which i've never watched)came from.

but the one i watch, Hana Yori Dango I&II, japanese version. definitely very nice.

kinda weird lah also the plot. right.

i find it especially weird when some one get's the F4 "red notice."

so imagine this, *imagine-friendly music plays on your head*

you somehow pissed of the F4 dude.

and one fine day you walk to your locker like you do everyday.

you opened your locker and BAM! the "red notice" is there.

SHIT. you say in your mind.

and thensome random guy suddenly appears out of nowhere, and starts running the halls of the school, yelling and screaming about how "someone got the red notice"

and then, you run for your life. which is also weird. coz no one's ever escaped the wrath of the "red notice" before.

which is why this is a tv show. right.

hehe. i also watch the shows because of one actor. muahahahhahahahah.

he acted as the brooding high jumper i dont care hottie Sano Izumi in Hana Kimi and as not so brooding but hilarious rebel not so much of a hottie Uchii/Uchiyama in Gokusen (i watch this with my cousin :D ) and brooding very the hot with the extremely laid back hands in pocket Hanazawa Rui in HYD.(even though sometimes his voice in this show somehow macam very soft, macam belum pecah. heh)

bahahahahaha. to me he sort of emmits this hotness aura.

not the handsome-hot aura too. it's the way he carries himself i think.

HSBC cares with CPS.

Last Saturday was awesomeee!! 18th of April 2009.
i volunteered together with the HSBC crew for their community service event.
under the HSBC Cares thing :D :D

it was kick ass fun fun fun. and tiring. heheh. but fun.
we had a day out at Youth Park with kids from the Children's Protection Society.
So, the older ones all went up hiking and the younger ones stayed down at the field to play games.

I went up hiking with them.

hahahha. i almost died of exhaustion. hehe..
i'm the most unstamina-less person i know. muahahahahah.
but anyway, i still made it to the top! whoopyyy.
and it was fun though. hiking with the kids and hsbc aunty/uncle :D

especially with koganes<3 :D she's soo nice. and funnehhh.

up up up.. the nice rambut :D sisters, are from Sweden!
Mary, Emma and Erika. They're gonna be social workers so they stay in Malaysia for a while and go around working with homes like the CPS. nice huh.

here's where we we're gonna use the short cut to go straight up.
and uncle martin (the dude in red) was making jokes about going up and hollering to the group leader to slow down. :D

then here we reached no3!! then the adults start asking the kids if they want to continue going up. then everyone said YEAHHH!
and the adults looked like they wanted to say craaapppp, whyyy did we even ask?!
heh. then we all went up.
and eventhough i was mucho slow ness :D i made it to the top!

so everyone ada at the top. no 5!!! wooohooo.

raining cows and bulls..

firstly, i would just like to say that Ferrari, Kimi Raikonnen!!! you truly disappointed me.
but nevertheless, it is still very early in the season eh.
Malaysian GP was quite the bomb really. very very eventful.
it was raining cows and bulls i tell yah!
quite disappointing lah kimi! but then suddenly the commentator said. "where is kimi raikonnen?" then the camera showed him already tukar baju into his shirt,shorts,cap, shades ensemble while eating an ice cream!!!
hahahah. awwwwww. kimi.

moving on. yesterday. the mango tree in front of my kitchen, suddenly fell!!
such a sad occassion. and before you ask, it was not raining, it was not windy. and NO it was not struck by lightning.

the roots just gave way. and then there was none.

but then this time got so banyak buah laa.
my mum said maybe it was the tree's farewell fruits coz it usually dont berbuah that banyak.
so maybe the tree knew that it was time so it gave us loads of fruit before falling to the ground.
R.I.P. mango tree.

hahah. so now banyak buah. and all still very sour since belum ripen yet,.
so i eat with the petisssss and sugarrrrrr.
muahahahaa. heavenlyyyy.

and still moving on. before it rained, i managed to get a few rounds on my bicycle around the
garden. then, i got another healthy harvest of the no-name-fruit mentioned in the previous post.
then my parents we're replanting the pudina plant.

Earth Hour 28th March 2009

yesterday was one of the almost funnest day everrrr.
hahah. boleh tahan lah kan.
it was awesome though.
we had a small barbeque. since it was on the 28th of March.
we tutup lampu lah right during the partayyyy.
syiookkkk.
candlelight throughout the whole house.(except upstairs and the kitchen. the kitchen pakai torchlight. heheh)

so mon came around very early.so she terpaksalah tolong menolong.
but then "something" happened lahh. she'll kill me if i type it down here in my blog.
so call me lah, i'll tell you everything! *winkwink*
;D

so then, by 7 something i think. gen sampai.
and then me and mon and gen was given the job to lekatkan the candles onto
candle holder. more wax got onto the table then into the cups.
mostly mon's side of the table. muahahahaha.

then cat came.
then asma came. then LIGHTS OFF TIME!!!!
woohoooo. it was pretty dark!! i actually didnt expect it to be THAT dark.
so me, mon, asma and gen gathered round a candle.
gen and asma were supposed to tell us a ghost story.

then, afi came. then supposed to sambung lagi the story.

then, muz finally graced us with her presence. hehehe.

it was really really fun.

then 9.30-ish the lights were back on.
eyes adjusted. then we sambung sembang lagi.
then. aida started playing with the wax.
then EVERYONE started playing with the wax.
heheh.

best lah. dipping your finger into the hot wax.
then me and mon created warts for my hand. hahaha. it looked cool, wei!

it was a fun barbeque. we should do it morrrrrrrrrrrree!!

i feel that the movie is one of the worst malay movie everrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
hahahah. sorry to say. but it has a bad plot. bad acting.

hehehe. but the breakdance part was good lahhh.
muscles rippling everywhere. especially ALAM. haahah. he's so adorable!
but it was a good laugh lah the movie.

the part masa they tiba2 nyanyi at the tasik there.
hahaha. loved that part.
i honestly dont mind watching it again.

why would i watch a bad movie you ask?!

five words : PUTERI GUNUNG LEDANG the MUSICAL.
another two words : Hell Yeah!!!!!

i hate to say this. but i have to. i have to say this.
PGL the musical was better than Mamma Mia! the musical.

i'd probably get hate mail, scoffs and insults from people who have seen mamma mia and have not seen PGL.
how could a "local" production, a malay musical be so fabulously fantastic, you ask?
well, it was. so suck it up.
the next time that it's staged. go and watch it.
trust me. it is worth your money. you will love it. the songs, scenes and actors(winkwink) will haunt your dreams.

gosh. i was sceptical at first too. but once i stepped into istana budaya and see the whole place decorated. i felt excited. haha. felt like peeing.

i went with my homie, afi juddster the juddstud luvah, my parents and my maklong. since my sister unfortunately couldnt go, my maklong went instead.
kinda sad that my sis couldnt go. she totally missed out on the most awesomest thing ever.

so me and afi were super giddy and omg-ing at everything possible.
just waiting to take out my secret weapon in my bag. heheh.
the secret weapon will be revealed later on.

then it started. i can't explain lah. i just can't. maybe i could but just not through writing. but it was super well planned.
kudos to the stage manager.

if you look closely, in the middle of all those structures. tiara jacquelina is coming out.
and just to let you know. the whole struture thingy was raised from below the stage.

then this time, all the javanese people were talking about rumours that a Malaccan ship has just arrived.
and they're dancing and talking about hang tuah. whoa. their jawa accent memang amazing lah.

i think this was when gusti puteri retno adjeng dumilah (i'm not kidding) was with Bayan(very good singer she is) dreaming about how she wants to find love.

then after she terserempak with the four people yang came from melaka, including the lush hang tuah. then i guess it was love at first sight. (dont you roll your eyes at that!)
then that malam, they jumpa on the batu2 thingamajig.
i tell you, the way they manipulate the six tangga things throughout the whole musical is brilliant.
so they jumpa and nyanyi nyanyi. hahha.

stephen rahman hughes looks gorgeous in the hang tuah outfit. hahaha.
you should have heard my maklong gush about him.
heheh.

maklongsham: rahman!!rahman!! malam ni mimpi2 si rahman tu.

then after that, she balik rumah.
then her brother, ruler of Majapahit (played by AC Mizal) was pissed at her for frolicking around malam2.

Gusti Adipati Handaya Ningrat. played by AC mizal. fuyooooooo. you'd say. this dude boleh ke do theatre?
haha. i was suprised too. he was AMAZING!!
so then he said you must dance for the sultan of melaka tomorrow.
then when he left, gusti putri was pissed coz she didnt want to dance for some sultan.
then Bayan told her to dance for "your Tuah."

this is the said dance on the next day. Sultan of melaka is the one in yellow obviously back there.
and Hang Tuah and everyone else was sitting on the floor.

then at one moment they shined the spotlight only on Gusti Putri and Hang Tuah. because she was obviously dancing for him and for him only.
then when it was her solo dance, she did this funky bunga-throwing-kain-using-leg-to-Tuah which might sound funny and weird now. but it was impressive.

then after. Adipati found out about how some Demak warriors have masuk-ed Majapahit.

and he was beyond pissed.

and this is one of my favourite scenes. coz he was angry and all. with one of my favourite songs. haha. Dewa Perang.
then when the music all build up dah. untill your heart was one with the music, then suddenly BANG!! got explosion on the stairs going to the orchestra pit.
everyone almost leapt out of their seats sebab terkejut.
then suddenly afi nudged me and said., eh,everyone is coughing.
then i realized everyone WAS coughing. hahah. the asap all come to the people sitting in front.
but it was the bomb.

then after, Adipati pergi ask Sultan Mahmud for help.
then Sultan Mahmud of course asked what's in for him.
so he said he wants Gusti Putri. then of course Adipati said ok.
this whole scene, i thought Ac Mizal was amazing coz you can see that he actually doesnt want to agree but he had too. that resigned voice you know.

then of course after, Hang Tuah has to go to Demak to fight. so then, he and Gusti Putri had to say goodbye.

and Gusti Putri made him swear to come back to find her. but if he didnt come, she'll go and wait for him herself on gunung ledang. but still at this time, neither of them knew that Gusti Putri was already promised to the Sultan.

then after, which i also thought was a brilliant scene. they showed her waiting as time goes by for her Hang Tuah. it was really amazing lah. i dunno how to put in words.

then she told Bayan that she wants to go cari him,

this was right before Bayan sort of jampi the Gusti Putri for safety and luck and all.
and masa ni lah, Bayan did some magic stuff with this small flower. it was floating in the most convincing way ever that there was no strings suspending it.
i'm still wondering how they did that. curioso curioso.
then. the Patih(Adipati's right hand man) came in to cari Gusti Puteri .
But then she crawled in Bayan's kain (yes her kain) and disappeared.
evryone was screaming with awesomeness by then. illusions, man!!

then Bayan kena marah and almost kena execute by Adipati then she killed herself because her work is done. to raise Gusti Puteri and help her.

then Adipati pulak was super pissed and said he'll go and find his sister. and if only he could get his hands on hang Tuah's neck.

then the props changed. it was awesome. a huge ship/tongkang was there and it was sailing and all. again. brilliant props.

then after the intermission. show dekat melaka pulak.(wooohooo) so nice lah the change. the baju. the selling things.

then got show the part where Hang Tuah was teaching Raja Ahmad silat.
our Raja Ahmad was much cuter.heheh. 6 years old only!

then, the announcement happened. it was announced that, Sultan Mahmud will be taking Gusti Puteri as his wife.

then hang tuah. sedih2 tu. sang and at the end of the song, went aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh... for an obnoxiously-amazing-an -abnormal-out-of-this-world long time.
it's not a yell, ok. it's like those ends of some songs? yeah.
oh!
i know. he sang "ku putarkaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaan"
i think. but it was a super long breath lah.

so then the sultan of melaka bukan main happy lah kan that he's gonna marry the pretty Puteri of Majapahit. so happy that he broke out into a Broadway number.
hahahha. no joke man.

like afi said. it's like Las Vegas! sultan of melaka!! LAS VEGAS!!

so Hang Tuah was asked by the sultan to go cari her and pinang her lah.
that's where the "7 rombongan" *coughafi7DGcough* came in. they bawak their supposed barang hantaran to go and pinang her lah kan.

of course Tuah was not happy because. hello? that's his chick he's pinang-ing for his sultan.
so then for this solo. he came out in this sleeveless baju.
muahahaha. and this is when our secret weapon came out from my bag.
heheheh. me and afi took turn using my BINOCULARS to zoom in on hang tuah's well gym-ed and muscled bod.
hahah. yeah. no joke.
at this moment, our gushes and omg-ing and snickers and not-so-muffled-gasps were at an all time high.

then they go cari her at Gunung Ledang.

this is when the nenek kebayans all datang. fuyooo. scary and best at the same time.
got so much explosion on stage.
at first only got one nenek kebayan je. then she was at one side of the stage, then suddenly and explosion, then BAM! she was at another place.
then BAM! another place. BAM! another place.
then suddenly ada 7 pulak the nenek kebayan.

then only one nenek kebayan led him up to gunung ledang. then the said nenek kebayan changed, like literally changes into Gusti Puteri. yeah. i know. admit it. impressive stuff.

and the way they made the waterfall was so impressive and creative and all other compliments rolled into an awesome tootsie roll. hehe.

then they both reunite lah kan. but then nanti she found out that he was only there to pinang her for the sultan.
then she bacame sad and then she got pissed. and then came the tujuh syarat.
the song was amazing. brilliantly written and she sounded so angry.

and he was going crazy. it was so sad looking at him. through the binoculars of course.

then they showed sultan mahmud wanting to take raja ahmad's blood.
then Gusti Puteri ran in and stopped him. and said that how could he not realize that the syarat was just a way of refusing his peminangan.
Sultan Mahmud was pissed coz he felt that he was being played by the Gusti Puteri.

so he cursed her and banished her onto the top of Gunung Ledang.

and when he was saying the curse, he raised his keris.
then his keris sort of went up in flames. sort of lah. made it so dahsyat wei. so dramatic.
i loved it.

then it showed that she was still waiting for him on top of Gunung Ledang after being cursed. and how he never came.
but then finally he came. but he couldnt see her.

memang so sad lah this part. then they sang about how their love would be for eternity.

that's how it ended lah. exactly like that. on the top of gunung ledang.

then it ended. and the stading ovation begun.
gosh. it was amazing.
all the cast came out. and everyone was screaming/whistling/yelling/whooping/pointing/waving and all.
and when the 7 rombongan came out. *note that afi and i are going wild at this point of the standing ovation*
then, they sat on the stairs leading to the orchestra pit.
and 7DG sat there and showed the peace sign.
omigosh. me and afi.....no turning back already. screams screams and more screams
and when AC mizal came out. he did some jiggy. michael jackson moves. SCREAMmmm.
ADLIN AMan ramli came out. fancy dance moves. SCREAMMMMMMMMMMMmmm.

stephen rahman hughes came out and did some POP and LOCKING!!!
SCREAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

and then tiara came out. still screaming lahhh.

it was seriously amazing. the props. actors. dancers. let's not forget the musicians. the pyrotechnitions. the everyone.
it's crazzzzzzyyyyyyyyy.
to think that it's a totally amazing LOCAL production. and the cast and crew, majority all young talented malays.
i felt an immense feeling of pride. Local production with that kind of quality.
gosh. i think i can see it over and over and over without getting bored.
do yourself a favour. if ada lagi next time go and see it.

i know the pictures are not much. but you have to be there to experience it.

and of course, the ticket pictures.

touring the world this year.

first stop. they've already been and did shows there.

tom said, that even after 3 years since being there, fans can still sing along with them.
and they're super happy.
people greeting them at the airport with food and all.

come over here!!!!!!!! i'll cook (more like order) a 12 course malaysian meal including all the different malaysian cuisine, baby!
with the strings that i could (not) pull, i'll even get a whole silat/kompat/boria/ngajat dancers/liondance/classical indian dancers to come and welcome you guys.
but surely the love that this one fan with her friend (afi who is also a mcflyer) would suffice.

ok. i don't usually do posts like this.
but yeah. i feel like i have to do this. to lepas geram.

on the news today and yesterday, they're trying to change teaching science and maths in english back to malay.
why must they do this?
isn't it obviously better for everyone to be learning the subjects in english since later on in life, majority of science and maths courses will be taught in english?
would'nt it be a burden for the students to switch languages back and forth?

you say the time is up and still no results. give them more time. more guidance.
malaysian students can do it.
oh shit this all. malay students can do it.
why am i singling out malay's?
because i am ticked off. how could you, a malay yourself, look down on your own people?
why are you trying to put us down. and pull us back from being "maju"?

if you watched the news, the dude said. they are doing this to help the malay students from the rural areas.
what crap is this? do you know how degrading that sounds?
and coming from a malay man himself?

i'm sure it was hard at first, but give the kids time. they WILL get it. they WILL.
gosh. i am so proud of my little cousins now. i agree that last time their english pretty much sucked.
but now. they are good. an i mean it.
they can converse. they can understand. give them more time. and they will be able to cope.
if they can watch english movies, and laugh at appropriate timings, what more do you want?

can you imagine, sitting in a line,and as usual, i'm always the only malay wearing tudung. then the teacher asks everyone down the line questions.
but when it's your turn, she switches to malay?!
hello?! does wearing a tudung, automatically brand you as a "non-english-speaking-dumbass"?

what pisses me off even more, is if i'm with a non tudung wearing malay girl, and the teacher/shopkeeper/whoever speaks to her in ENGLISH, and to me in malay.
isn't that just plain bullshit?
yeah, wearing the tudung does not make our brains smaller, you git.
i probably can spell english words backwards and forwards while cartwheeling around you twice.
(it's just an expression of anger lah)

and i've had a real life moment where someone insulted me in a non-malay language thinking that i wont understand.
well. i can, bitch! i probably know the vocabulary better than you.

i say enough is enough with holding us back. what are you thinking? what are you trying to do?
how are we supposed to cope anyway, when the teacher teaching us form5 biology speaks the terms, and teaches in malay anyway. how are we supposed to get used to learning science and maths in english?
what are we learning then?

we can do this. have more faith dammit!

it's the time of the year again.
thaipusam. where all hindus celebrate.
super festive super colourful.
and as usual. right in front of our house is the route for the chariot to go back to the temple where it will be kept until the next thaipusam.

by 8pm, got a lot of ppl hanging around outside already to wait for the arrival of the chariot.
a small group of people sang and played traditional musical instruments.
then by 8.30-9.00pm like that, the chariot came and went.
pulled by two cows. two very decorated cows.
they'll stop in front of st georges girls school to break the coconuts.
well. here are the pictures that i took.

coz i didnt want to use the flash because nanti everyone will look at us.

ice kacang or air batu campur or A.B.C. is the one of the most favourite-est and famous dessert in malaysia.

it is super sedap to be eaten with family friends colleagues during hot and sizzling days at warongs..
it is basically shaved ice in a bowl. pour some syrup on top, then inside the bowl underneath all the refreshing ice, there are....things. edible things of course.

looks amazingly goodylicious dontcha think? actually the picture, in between the redbeans and the atapchee got some sort of fruit stuff. like grapes...

ok. this is ice kacang. not some fancy thing with GRAPES.
not that there's anything wrong with grapes. sigh. nevermind.

so a group from singapore, called the Kopi Kat Klan (the guys yang nyanyi "Why you so like dat?")
made a song called Iced Kachang. which is one of the best songs ever made. hahah.
i used to sing this in school a lot in class.
but SOME PEOPLE thought it was so cheesy and corny.
oh well. i love the song anyway...

well as usual we went down to kuala lumpur. stayed at our trusty apartment in damansara which i just found out, and if my memory doesnt fail me, that it is pak sa loh? in cantonese.

so on the saturday before cny eve, we went out to dinner with my uncle since he wasnt gonna be there for lunch on first day of cny.

we went to bangsar village. never been there before.
nice place.
we ate at DELIcious. you know that ms. read restaurant?
the food all cantik2 lah. haha. let me give you some examples eh.

you guessed that right folks. brownie. with lotsa chocolate sauce. and ice cream.
better believe it.

and i forgot what it's called sundae.
gila man. inside got strawberries and all.
can go crazy makan that ok.

and the drink that i ordered was called...you're gonna love this monica strait!

the coolest part was at one point, both of them leaned forward gave their drinks a stir and sipped at the same freaking time!!

ok. to those who didn't go to watch the musical..
next time if it ever comes to malaysia again, GO AND WATCH!!

let me tell you this. they did'nt lie when they said it's the no 1 musical in the world.

and the cast that came is from WEST END!!!
when my mum told me... i freaked out!!!
i mean... hello?!

so annyway. the musical is amazing.
the movie is exactly the same with the musical.
i mean. they did justice to the musical lah.

and the conductor dude is super cool! conducts with his head!
and according to my mum, the guitar guys (there are 3 of them btw) are young and hot!!
yeahlah...her seat so in front can see lah.

it's so funny the musical. the best musical i have ever seen.

the only one who had an accent is SKY. a slight scottish accent i think.
and the amazing part of it is that they always say stuff like BLOODY 'ELL.
